Snow Bird

In New Jersey the term “Snow Birds” refers to people who fly to Florida for the Winter. This Snow Bird is a Sparrow, who is wintering in the Pines of Southern New Jersey. This photo was captured on an early Winter morning after a Blizzard in Feb. 2006. I like how the sparrow doesn’t disturb the snow on the fine branches.
